Ring Doorbell 4 Wired not powering on

I installed a Ring Doorbell 4 via wires and also included the battery as a back up. After install, the device dashboard on the app showed me on the upper right corner with a red electric icon that it was wired. Throughout the week, the battery slowly started draining but I figured since it was also wired, no biggie. But then the battery completely died after a few days and so did the device. I installed a different wired Ring doorbell (not the Pro) and it is being powered just fine. I used a power meter and the output is 20.4 bolts. I tried also tried resetting the camera with the battery in but this still didn't fix the issue. I also tried using the Ring jumper cable in case it wasn't getting enough power and this also didn't work. What's happening?

Hi @user_a5dedc. How many events per day is your device recording? If you visit the Device Health page, what does the power source read as? If this is wired to a transformer, what is the voltage rating for the transformer? Lastly, is the make and model of your Chime Kit? Thanks for this information.
