Hi @mjcarte. Interesting. Would you be able to share a screenshot of where you are seeing this in the Ring app? You should be able to select the doorbell and tap on the Device Health tile to reconnect to wifi. A pin is usually only required on new devices for 1st time setup. Did you reset the device or did you completely remove the doorbell from the Ring app? Hopefully we can figure this out!

Did you ever get to the bottom of this, as I am having the same problem! There is no PIN number, just a date 202008 so I can not reconnect to my new wifi Is there a way?

I have this issue as I have a new wifi box, I don’t have the pin and have the same battery with the date code how do I reconnect to the WiFi box? Thanks

Hi @user49955. What Doorbell model do you have? The pin would not be on the battery. It would be located somewhere else, and for some older model Doorbells, they do not require a pin to be set up.

You have to unscrew the Ring from the wall, there is another QR Code with the 5 numbers under it.
