In-home chime disabled when person detected
I installed a wired Video Doorbell Pro 2 a couple of weeks ago. It works fine, except that if the Ring detects a person on my porch before they ring the bell, my mechanical in-home chime won't ring. I only get alerts on my phone.
It's not just a one-time occurrence. The in-home chime is locked out every time the blue circle is lit. If I open the door from inside the house and push the button, DING DONG, loud and clear. But if I try to push the button again, and again, nothing happens unless I wait for a minute for the blue light to go out.
I installed the provided jumper/resister for the front door. (I have an older wired Ring on my back door, which doesn't require the jumper and works with every button push.) I also replaced my old 16vac transformer with a new 24vac on to be sure I have plenty of power.
Again, the mechanical chime works perfectly fine once as long as a person isn't detected, and it works every time for the back door. What is one to do?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi @user_0d6f51. I would suggest rebooting your Doorbell using the Ring app. Also, make sure you installed the Pro Power Pack correctly. If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concern, give our support team a call for further assistance.
