Faceplate for Doorbell 4 ok for new Battery Doorbell Pro?
Just received my Battery Doorbell Pro and although the faceplate I bought for my 4 fits, I noticed it has considerably smaller vents on the side. Would this impact the microphones in any way? Cheers

Hi @Retrovertigo. The Ring Battery Doorbell Plus is fully compatible with all Video Doorbell 3, 3 Plus, and 4 accessories. There shouldn’t be any issue with using a faceplate from the Doorbell 4 here.
It’s actually the new Battery Doorbell Pro with the 3D radar stuff. I tried the faceplate I have and it does indeed fit, but the side vents are about twice the length on the original faceplate that comes with this new Pro model. There must be a reason for that? Thanks
I have literally just swapped the standard silver plate for a brand new black plate I had for my Ring 4 which I never used it. I also noticed the difference in the size of the side vents but can see that the vents clearly match up with the speaker on the unit. We done a couple of tests between the two and couldn't tell any difference. How have you got on with yours?

Hi @Retrovertigo. I am happy to chime in. It does not affect the speaker or any other feature. It is just a cosmetic difference.
