Doorbell 3 Blue Light Flashing
troubleshooting

Previous owners installed a Doorbell 3 battery/hardwired and have not had any issues over last 1.5 years. Last week doorbell started flashing blue and saying it is offline.  Have tried multiple variations and attempts to get back online. No wifi or other electrical issues have changed. Took battery out and recharged to 100%- still blue. Reset modem and router multiple times- still blue. Pressed orange button- still blue. The only method that did something was holding the orange button for over 20 seconds there was one flash of white but then back to blue. Any other techniques that could be tried?

    Hi @user_9ce3ba. Try bringing the Ring Doorbell close to the router, then hold down the setup button for 20 seconds to fully reset it. After the reset is complete, walk through a new setup in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. If the Doorbell is still unresponsive after these steps, please reach out to our support team via phone or @Ring on Facebook, X, or Instagram.
