Yes. I learned about the outage on r/Ring. It's absolutely inexcusable that Ring doesn't have a system to alert us about these outages.

This is ridiculous that this has happened and I realize it’s other apps that’s involved but you should have some better information that is sent via text or email of ALL ISSUES

Ring has been sporadically acting up for about 2 weeks now (disconnecting every once in a while) culminating into this recent fiasco starting around midnight this morning (Monday, October 20, 2025... for the record, My Honor). We use the app to let a certain member of the household in & out (we will not entrust him with the access code... ever) when we aren't nearby to let the dweeb in manually, so whenever Ring goes down, one can see where this becomes an issue. Of course, having Ring stop working is a worse issue. At this moment (10:30 AM Pacific Standard Time) it is still going offline. The link provided above currently shows the following: Update - Our Customer Support line is currently impacted by the outage, calls to Ring Customer Support may not be successful. Oct 20, 2025 - 14:23 UTC Monitoring - A fix has been implemented and Ring services are beginning to see recovery. We will continue to monitor the results. Oct 20, 2025 - 12:40 UTC Investigating - Ring is currently experiencing a service disruption impacting multiple Ring systems. Oct 20, 2025 - 10:00 UTC Ring.com Partial Outage Ring Protect (Video Recording) Partial Outage Live Calls (Doorbell Dings & Motions) Partial Outage Video On Demand Partial Outage Partner Integration Partial Outage Account Emails Partial Outage Way the by... UI'm in Spanish springs, same issues this morning. Cameras turning on and off. I have an entry device that wont stop loading and have found no way to make it stop. Keep getting random motion alerts and nothing there or they are delayed by 10 minutes. I have ATT as internet and they seem to get worse every day.

I have spent hours and troubleshooting wifi, uninstalling the app, reconnecting devices only to have them disconnect again, checking breakers, calling Ring and getting a Verizon automated saying my call can't be connected, not to mention missing important footage of a coyote threat we need to monitor, and that my nerves are now destroyed. My question is why isn't there an automated system to text users of an outage? I've been in IT for 20 years and am wondering where are Ring's monitoring, messaging and automated texting systems?
