Ring reduced camera zones by almost 50%!!

After looking out my window today and seeing a Penske truck in my driveway and people exiting, I checked my ring camera and noticed none of the event was picked up or recorded. NONE! I then checked all four of my ring cameras and noticed that Ring has apparently reduced the motion coverage area by nearly 50%! When I look at my cameras live, I can see everything. That entire viewing area is what I had my zones set to record. I also have all four of my cameras set to the highest sensitivity level. I made no adjustments to my settings. Apparently this cannot be undone or adjusted by the customer. Our cameras will no longer record the entire area that can be viewed live. This is a huge security concern. I have a camera covering my swimming pool in the backyard. With the changes Ring has made to the system, my camera will no longer even record my pool or detect motion in it. It will only reach as far as the deck. I have to view the camera live to even see the pool, but it isn’t being recorded for motion. That is very dangerous! What is the point in even having a security camera?? I called customer service and she said she has no record of Ring making any changes to their system or service. But when I research this online, I see hundreds of customers with this same complaint. I have attached pictures of my front door and my pool camera views (I cropped the left side of the pool view for personal reasons). The blue shaded areas are what Ring reduced the motion zone coverage to. As you can see, my pool is no longer in that zone and this cannot be adjusted. The motion of the Penske truck in my driveway should have been picked up and recorded, but it wasn’t. As soon as I finish this post I will be searching for products and service with a new camera company. I pay over $100 a year for this and it is now completely worthless.

Hi @user_44af02. I'd like to help you more with this. What specific model devices do you have? Can you share the specific motion settings you have enabled? Are you a Ring Home Plan subscriber? You can find more information about Motion Detection here.
