Replacing Ring doorbell with a new Ring doorbell

I simply need to replace my old Ring doorbell with a new Ring doorbell. I can’t find anywhere it explains this process.
One description said I have to have the old one working, but mine isn’t working at all. Need help!

Hi @user_2dba6d. What current model doorbell do you have? Are you upgrading your doorbell just because, or are you having issues with your current doorbell? To replace a doorbell, you just purchase a new one and install it with the new, included hardware.
