Spotlight Cam Plus Motion Zone Snapshot not updating
app-settings
troubleshooting

Hello,

For the first 6 months or so after installing my Spotlight Cam Plus, the snapshot shown in Motion Settings -> Camera Motion Zones looked exactly like my Live View of the camera.

Recently, the snapshot shown in Motion Settings -> Camera Motion Settings is about 70% of what's visible in the Live View.  This discrepancy does not allow me to set my zone boundaries as desired.

I've been running on battery since Day 1 so nothing has changed there. I've rebooted the device. I've changed the battery.

What can I do to my device or app settings to make the Zone setting view the same as the Live View, allowing for proper zone boundary setting?

Thanks,

Bryan

Hi @user_b35f13. The view you see when editing Motion Zones reflects the area that your camera can detect motion in. Would you mind sharing screenshots of what you see in comparison to the Live View? I'd be happy to confirm if what you're seeing is expected for the Spotlight Cam Plus.

Hi @user_272516. Is this a Spotlight Cam Plus, or a different model of camera? Is it battery powered or hardwired? Depending on which model of camera you have, and how it is powered, what you're seeing might be expected behavior.
