Out of focus without ability to control in-focus zone
I just replaced my new Ring Indoor camera with 2k or 1080 with the same model and same location because the room was in poor focus. I moved the original camera to a new location and it's in focus. The old location with a new camera is also out of focus. Likely the nearby wall about 18" away is preventing the rest of the room from being in focus. Is there is an internal algorhythm that seems to focus close on a close up wall and ignores distance which is then out of focus. This needs to be addressed by the company to place a control for what you want in focus just like in your iPhone when you tap on the screen or adjust for distance.
I spent over an hour uselessly getting transferred from one department to another, talking to some nice but ignorant pseudo tech people who told me my internet speed is too slow (not, it's >100 mb/s) or some other useless idea like reseting the device. Camera placement is limited by the attached cord and not sure a longer cord is available.

Hi @user_b1adec. There is no internal mechanism that allows the camera to focus on a specific area. To mitigate this, you'll need just position the camera in a way that allows it to focus on the area you need. Try opening the Live View and adjusting the camera in real time. Let me know how this works!
