- CHi @VelvetJones. Live View will automatically time out after around 10 minutes. We have received the request to extend this timeframe before, which you can find [here](https://community.ring.com/t/extend-the-length-of-live-view-24-7-recording/4507) on our Feature Request board. I'd suggest adding your feedback and vote to that request. We use the Feature Request board to keep track of new ideas and features so we can share them with our teams.•

URing need to allow 24-7 live viewing. I need to be able to monitor the front office with an old computer. I have purchased the upgraded account. I have bought the Ring indoor camera (plug-in). The new account lets me monitor longer. However, the camera live view stops and requires me to restart it. SUPER ANNOYING!!! I have a fiber connection so who cares if it uses my resources I pay for... I want monitoring!

CHi @user_e59983. Continuous Live View is now available on select devices, with a Ring Home Premium plan. You can learn more about this feature here. For more information about what features each plan provides, check out ring.com/plans.

I have to log into live view every 5 minutes. It doesn't even go every 9 minutes. It keeps logging me out of live view and makes me log back in and click a couple things like do you trust this browser. I am not changing browsers or anything but it's just logging me out of the browser on live view. This is a horrible product with a horrible company that does nothing to help anybody! My suggestion is to get a full refund if you haven't already

I have the same issue making the device just about useless. I do not understand why Ring intentionally breaks our cameras buy just turning them off? The camera staying on has nothing to do with them, Its my camera, its my home network, its my pc, its my electric, They should have nothing to do with me viewing the camera locally!!!!!! Let alone remotely other than a quick api query for the devices IP address and a mfa auth. If they dont fix it soon, or if they try to charge me more for a local ability I I already have that they intentionally break, This Piece of crap camera is going in the garbage can.
