Making 24/7 video recording available with solar power

Because of the location of our outdoor video cameras we need to use solar power with the installed battery. With the introduction of 24/7 video recording It'd be nice to have that option with solar rather than requiring them to be hard-wired to provide the required power. Or, at the very least, to also have an option for the snapshot mode to be more frequently than just 3 minutes apart.
