- AHi @Marley\_Ring. Do you know if this is prioritized by Product Management and when they think the feature will be released? Not sure what your release cycle is. I have made a huge investment in buying Ring cameras to install and then learned about lack of continuous viewing. Depending on timeline, I need to figure out what to do with them since I don't want to go past my return period. Thanks!•

JCount me in the camp of those requesting elimination of the 10 minute timeout on live view as well. This definitely limits the viability of the cameras for monitoring children either sleeping or playing. I think its important to distinguish that what I believe many of us are asking for is simply removal of a restriction on live viewing. We are NOT asking for the ability to continuously record an infintely long live viewing (at least I'm not). One of the moderator responses on this thread mentioned recording, so I'm worried we are talking past each other on this feature request. As someone else already noted- if you aren't paying for a subscription, live view is all you are getting! It's ridiculous for this to be capped.•9

- SAll they have to do is copy the continuous viewing from amazon cloud cam. It let you view the live stream but it does not record until it detect motion.•

SReading this thread, it occurs to me that Ring's answers have to do with constant recording which is not the same as constant viewing. I can kind of understand why the idea of constantly recording a feed might be daunting given the storage considerations, but that's not at all the same as live viewing.

- RHi, Many people like to set a time to keep the live view active. For me the timer need to be set for at least one working day (8 hours)•

4I see a continuous thread on this subject for several months with little official response from Ring. I currently have 5 exterior cameras (2 w/solar panels and 3 PoE powered) plus the doorbell. I want to be able to keep the live view on at least one of the hard-wired cameras so I know when the mail is delivered at the curb and the UPS truck etc.•2

- RIf I had known that there was not an option for continuous live viewing, I would not have bought a Ring. That is the one thing that is preventing me from buying more Ring cameras. I work at home and want the option to have a continuous monitor. Shopping for new camera systems now, it definitely won't be Ring.•

R[@rbp66](https://community.ring.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/83905 "@rbp66") I agree about the timeout which is why I am developing a workaround for Windows 10. Are you using Windows 10 to view your Ring camera by any chance? The workaround is not done yet but it should be soon. If you want to take a stab at the timeout period, let me know your results. thanks [https://community.ring.com/t5/Video-Doorbells/Live-View-10-Minute-Limit-Workaround/m-p/50667#M16771](https://community.ring.com/t5/Video-Doorbells/Live-View-10-Minute-Limit-Workaround/m-p/50667#M16771 "10 Minute Live View Timeout Workaround") Also, don't forget to vote for the feature, we are only [**7**](https://community.ring.com/t5/Feature-Request-Board/Extend-the-length-of-Live-View/idi-p/24124 "Vote for this Feature!") votes away from getting this request on to the Top 10:•0

- JI bought two Stickup Cams to replace my YI Home cams because YI's software is awful. I was hoping to be able to watch multiple cameras simultaneously and continuously, mainly to monitor my two sleeping toddlers. Then...timeout after 10 minutes. What the...??? For monitoring kids, this is useless, as I have to be able to hear them when they cry or wakeup at night. Boo, hiss. Very disappointed. I will definitely return these two cams (but keep my outdoor cams) if there's no promise of a solution in the near future.•
