Live Camera privacy concern
I needed tech support regarding a feature on my new indoor Ring cam (2nd gen). While talking to the support person, she asked me to confirm which camera in question by waving my hand in front of the camera (which I did). How come they have access to live feed like that without permission?I did not know that this is easily available to any Ring employee.Anyone has similar experience?

I don’t believe you that they can’t access it, because I’ve had someone who works for Ring constantly live viewing my cameras for months until I realized it was happening. I had to unplug every camera and face one at a wall so that it has to be manually turned to view anything. I had security support talk to me and they sent data that clearly shows OTHER IP addresses viewing my cameras and I’m sick of Ring not doing anything about it. My phone is the only authorized device with the IP literally listed on the info so I know what views mine were.

Hi @NAS. Our support team does not have direct access to live views from your devices. They may have asked you to create a motion event to determine which device generated a new event. The team can only see a new listing indicating motion detection; they cannot access actual video footage.
