Battery Spotlight Cam Plus hardwired to solar charger & Smart Responses

I just learned that my two new Battery Spotlight Cam Plus cameras are NOT compatible with Smart Responses because they are not hardwired cameras! But, in reality they are hardwired to a solar charger, providing constant charging. Plus, I just got two new batteries so that both have two batteries for greater power endurance.Ring customers are pretty loyal, I know I am, we own 18 Ring cameras &/or doorbells, & I can't imagine why Ring programmers can't provide a software update to offer the Smart Response feature, when a unit is plugged in to a solar power source, making it essentially "hardwired"?Can a Ring customer service team member please respond & let us all know if this is in the works? We invest a lot of money in owning these devices & this should be a basic feature for all the devices, especially the Spotlight & Floodlight cameras, whether they are plugged in to an electrical "house" power source or a solar one. Having constant power... electric or solar, basically makes them "hardwired". Remember, not all locations have a direct power source, even though WIFI may be available, this is why a solar source is provided for.Thanks for your assistance & hopefully anticipated software update.JBro
