I recently purchased (2) Solar Spotlight Cameras with the understanding the ring app allowed the system to be armed/disarmed, however, this option does not appear after adding both of the ring cameras. My Goal: • System Armed: Motion Detected - Sirens go off & Camera Records Event • System Disarmed: No Alerts or Recordings ( Save Battery & Data ) • App: Arm/Disarm System From the ring app ( Multiple Phones ) My System • (2) Solar Spotlight Cameras • Remote Installation ( Cellular Modem w/ Wifi ) • Area: Open Yard. No Need For Any panel, motion detectors or door contacts Originally I was going to purchase the premium monitoring plan, however if the (2) cameras can't be armed/disarmed from the app I see little reason to keep these cameras as they are significantly more expensive than comparable cameras offered by REOLINK.
