Upgrading from home basic to home standard
Hi, I was subscribed to the home basic plan before but I want to upgrade to home standard since I got a second ring device and therefore want to upgrade to home standard. Since my annual subscription bill was paid a few months ago, will I need to pay the full price for upgrading plans or will it be just the difference in price

Hello, I have 2 Ring Solo subscriptions expiring end December 2026, and I cancelled these subscriptions and selected Ring Multi. However, the refund Ring is providing is half the amount I paid 5 weeks ago. Is this normal? I would have expected at least 80% refund.

THi @user_666aeb. Without seeing your account information, I really can't speculate on what should be accurate for a refund. What I suggest doing, is reaching out to our support team so they can review your information and give you an accurate answer. You can send us a private message on Facebook, Instagram or X @Ring, or give us a call.

Hi @user_352e7f. When you upgrade, you will be charged the full amount for your new plan and receive a prorated refund for your old plan, based on the amount of time left on the plan. You can find steps on how to upgrade your Ring plan here.
