My car was stolen and my ring camera skips a whole hours of footage
On Sunday 7/28/24 my car was stolen from right outside my friend door. The timeline skips from 12:39am to 1:39 am and my car just literally vanished. How did it not detect the footage ?? Is there anyway to recover that hour of footage !????

Hi @user_23f7cf. If there are no recordings of the event, then your Camera did not capture what happened, therefore there is no footage to recover. Now I cannot explain why it did not record, but I can offer steps to try to prevent this from happening again. Try the following steps:
- Reboot your Camera using the Ring app.
- Verify your Camera has good signal strength.
- Verify your Motion Zones are set up correctly.
- If your Camera is battery operated, make sure you have your Motion Frequency set to Frequent.
- Increase your Motion Sensitivity.
