Have I been conned?
My annual subscription has just ended and I received note to say I need to renew. In choosing link given in message it took me to selecting the service I wanted. I chose Basic and went through the process of entering my card details BUT, and it’s a big BUT, instead of presenting me an option to pay monthly it as debited my account the full annual cost.
Now, notwithstanding the annual cost has increased by a ludicrous 43%, to advertise a monthly payment option and not actually provide a method accepting that path is somewhat deceptive. Given both this deception and the 43% cost increase in the Basic option I think I will cancel and argue for the full refund and not accept their terms that say you will have to pay a minimum of one month as a penalty for cancellation.

Iv just signed for £7 a month and been charged £79!! Not happy!! I even went back and double checked before agreeing.. so I can’t help but I do empathise ! And agree contacting anyone is also a joke
