False advertising in standard benefits and poorly handled support
I just downgraded from the professional plan to standard monitoring. On the benefits page it lists “24/7 Emergency Police and Medical Response” as a benefit. When I asked about it I was lied to and treated like a fool by the representative as they attempted to gaslight me into thinking that statement means that it has an SOS button. Finally got an honest answer that it’s not a benefit of that plan. Could’ve just admitted that it was a mistake on the site, after the roundabout I got it seems more like false advertising in hopes that people won’t ask. If they do just convince them they don’t actually understand the words on the page. I wasn’t happy about the price hike but after that experience looks like I am shopping for a new alarm. If whoever reviews this wants to chat I am happy to share screenshots of the statement and the chat.
