Basic versus the 30 day trial

I have trial for 30 day's & just purchased the basic plan since I only have 1 camera & wasn't sure what I was doing, my question is does the basis plan work exactly like the trial plan I'm currently still using until the basis plan kicks in? Should I upgrade to the next offer instead of basic if I purchase another ring camera? :)
