Ring app restricting Motion Zones for cameras installed in Battery Mode (with or without solar connected)

I have Outdoor Stick-up cameras, Stick-up Cam Pro, and the new Outdoor Cam Plus installed at my property in wired and battery modes. The for Stick-up Cam and Outdoor Cam Plus, the Ring app does not display a Motion Zone snapshot that matches Live-View/Recorded Video/Privacy Zone snapshots or video. In effect, the top 25% of the screen is missing, and therefore, the Motion Zones saved in the dialogue effectively disregard the top 25% of the camera image. Recordings are impacted because motion in that area of the camera will never be recorded because at least one Motion Zone is required. Even the default zone does not extend to the top of the viewable camera recording. The new Outdoor Cam Plus is basically the same camera wired or unwired in battery mode...If you install the camera in wired mode with a power supply, it allows Motion Zone definition to the top of the viewable image. If you reset and reinstall that same camera in Battery Mode, the app will not allow you to set a Motion Zone at the top of the viewable camera image. ON THESE SAME CAMERAS, THE PRIVACY ZONE CAN BE SET TO THE FULL VIEWABLE IMAGE. Why is Privacy Zone okay at the top for battery mode but Motion Zone is not? Please note, I have one Stick-up Cam Pro (the one that also has "Bird's Eye View" geofencing ability) that actually works fine in Battery Mode -- you can set the Motion Zone on it all the way to the tippy top of the viewable camera scene. I happen to think this is a software flaw, not a design choice, that affects a ton of cameras in Battery Mode. I know camera hardware has a motion sensor separate from the image sensor, but I should be able to set my motion zone wherever I want. Since the Stick-up Cam Pro works the way you'd expect, it doesn't seem to be exclusive to battery powered devices. There are other ways to limit unnecessary recordings as well, like motion sensitivity or frequency checking, that a user can deploy. App should allow me to disable/delete motion zones altogether OR adjust my motion zone for a camera whether I'm running in Battery Mode or Wired mode.
