New Ring Chime (3rd Gen) will not setup

I just purchased two new Ring Chime (3rd Gen) and attempted to go through the add new device.  However, when I scan the QR code on the back of the Ring Chime, it keeps telling me that the Ring App needs to be updated.  The Ring app is at the latest version.  I even uninstalled and reinstalled the Ring app on the phone...and same problem exists.

How, do I get these chimes to setup?

    Hi @user_449ebb. Which version of the Ring app are you running? Are you on iOS or Android? If you have access to a different smartphone or tablet, try logging into the Ring app on there and attempting the setup process.
