Linked device schedule bug
I have a Doorbell 2 and a Spotlight Camera.
I have a linked device setup on the Doorbell so any motion at the doorbell will activate the spotlights. This setup has been working well for me for the last 18-20 months. As part of this setup it allows me set what times the lights will activate when motion is detected at the doorbell. I normally have to adjust these timings at least twice per year for winter and summer daylight saving times.
There is now a bug where the scheduled start time I enter and save inexplicably changes. Default start time of 1800hrs changes to 1400hrs after saving the setting. Amend start time to say 1830hrs and it changes to 1330hrs after the save.
I called support but didn't get very far with them. They said their tech support team said I shouldn't be linking my doorbell to my spotlight camera.
Anybody else with a similar setup also having this issue?
Video attached showing bug.

Hi @Tom_Ring
I have a Samsung S23+ Phone running Android 16
Ring App version is 3.101.0
If after setting activation time and I do not go back into the settings, the lights do not activate as intended.
We ended our NZ Daylight Savings Time last Sunday morning so our clocks were turned back 1 hour, hence I went into the app that morning to change the linked activation time to 1800hrs. Later that day when I arrived home around 1430hrs the lights activated. I checked the app and this was the first time I noticed the linked activation time was showing as 1400hrs. I thought I had accidentally put in the wrong time so I changed it back at 1800hrs, saved and exited app.
2 days later I again noticed lights activated when I got home at around 1530hrs. Recheck of app showed linked activation time as 1400hrs again. This is when I realised the possible app bug as activation time showed as changed after a save and check of settings.
After trial and error I've had to enter 1355hrs as the activation time and it shows as 1805hrs after the save. This is now turning on lights when I want which is close to my preferred time of 1800hrs.
Thanks for looking into this.

Hi @kiwi_harry. What type of phone/OS version is this, and what version of the Ring app is installed? If you don't go back to the Linked Devices screen after setting it to the correct time, does it detect motion and active lights as intended? This information will help me dive into this concern for you.
