Being logged out way too often
Hello, I've used my ring doorbel for a while, but what keeps frustrating me (and my wife) is that we seem to be regularly logged out.... either when there is a app update (iOS) or if we haven't used he app for a while. I've read somewhere here that you are logged out every 30 days, if the app is not opened in between. And you don't get a notification saying 'you've been logged out' (if that would be the case you'd at least know).
We have the ring installed in our holiday home and don't need it that often, but it's disappointing that we (when someone rings the doorbell) and are unknowingly logged out, we therefore don't know if / when someone was there... kind'a beats the whole point of why we bought it in the first place.
My question:
- is it indeed so that you need to use the app every 30 days? (in order to not be logged out).
- is there a way to prevent this / switch this 'security feature' off somehow?
- and if it is not possible, is it possible to be warned upfront via a push-message that you are about to be logged out?

Hi @user_472e84. Yes, you will be logged out of the Ring app if you have not accessed it for 30 days. This cannot be changed, and there is no option to receive a notification stating that you will be logged out. Opening the Ring app on a regular basis will prevent you from being logged out.
