App alert tones ignored when motion alerts off
Hi, I really like my new Ring doorbell, but I can't get the app to properly ring when motion alerts are turned off. I've selected the Ring Default for Rings under App Alert Tones, but just get the standard iOS notification. The ring alert works fine when I turn motion alerts on, but I don't want to get alerts, for example, each time my partner enters or leaves the house.
This is for the iOS app, version 5.102.0, partnered with a Battery Doorbell Plus with the Ring Solo plan.
Any suggestions, or is this a bug in the app?

Hi @fire-at-will. Which version of iOS are you currently running? I was unable to reproduce this issue on iOS version 26.4.2, Ring app version 5.102.0. The Ring Default tone played when I pressed the doorbell button, with Motion Alerts toggled off.
