We just got a ring fire/co listener but have been unsuccessful at getting the test step to work to get it setup properly. Everything appears like it should (green light blinking) but the listener is not picking up the alarm.  We have taken the batteries out of the listener and put them back in. We have done a factory reset.  We do have interconnected fire alarms in the house so when one goes off they all do which we thought may be interfering with the sound since they echo throughout the house.  We tried muffling the alarm and listener with a pillow to try and isolate the sound (suggestion found on line).  Nothing is working.  Any suggestions?
