Quick exit on two doors

We just installed our ring alarm generation 2. We initially setup quick exit on the front door to allow the 30 seconds to leave after setting the alarm from the keypad and it works great. We then setup quick exit for the garage door through the app, selecting the appropriate contact sensor, sliding the bar to set quick exit -just like we did for the front door. It shows as quick exit being saved but won’t allow us the designated 30 seconds -the alarm just goes off when we exit the garage door. I’ve been searching for solutions online but it appears we set it up correctly. Anyone else have this issue and can provide insight on resolution? Many thanks
