Motion sensors and camera IR stay active when disarmed and detection is off
Why do Ring motion sensors continue detecting motion even when the alarm is disarmed and motion detection is turned off? Also, why do infrared lights on Ring cameras stay on even when motion detection is disabled? There should be a setting to completely inactivate these devices per mode to save battery and extend device life.

I would like to say that having the IR light on in disarmed mode when motion detection is off is REALLY creepy . Please implement the feature to disable it completely when we want it disabled and provide firmware updates to correct this. Thank you

Hi @user_38487c. Even though the infrared lights are turning on, if you have motion detection turned off, it will not record. You will not be able to toggle off the infrared lights.
