False Sensor Readings
We have had our Ring system for a few years now with no problems and loved it. Now all of a sudden for the past several months everything is going bonkers. Our keypad keeps loosing its connection with the base, our smoke detector listeners keep bouncing back & forth between saying low battery to saying fully charged, door sensors in same room as base say they are open when they are closed and motion sensor will not clear itself to no motion detected unless we manually reset it. All these problems are random, no set pattern. We have not changed or added anything. I have already went through all the trouble shutting processes with Ring support over the phone to no avail. We are so frustrated. Anyone else ever have issues like this? Thanks.

Yes, we have changed the batteries in the smoke detector listeners and in the motion sensor and even went as far as replacing the base station and keypad with new ones. I have already reached out to Ring support prior to replacing everything and they were unable to provide any solutions other than telling me it is a Z Wave problem. The weird thing is one of the sensors giving us problems is actually in the same room as the base so how can it be a Z Wave issue ? Could a weak internet signal cause these issues ?

Hi @user_707f35. It's possible the batteries need to be changed on some components, given that you've had the system set up for a few years now. A low battery can contribute to the sensor not being able to properly communicate and update its status with the Base Station. If you haven't done so already, please try changing the batteries to new ones.
