app access to ring alarm
SO frustrated that RING no longer allows you to use the app to turn your alarm on or off. I specifically ASKED *this question prior to purchasing the system and was told this is doable. WELL it is only if you pay the subscription.
I know 3 people that had the monitoring system that they paid for and the police on2 occasions and fire on another were never dispatched. WHY would I pay for 24/7 monitoring in another country?
I have been on the phone today with customer service for over 2 hours trying desperately to speak to a US customer service rep

Hi @user_6b6d76. At this time, a Ring Protect Plus or Pro plan is required to have access to digital arming and disarming on the Ring Alarm. Without a plan, you can arm or disarm your system via the Ring Keypad, included with any Ring Alarm security kit. Professional Monitoring is included with the Pro plan, and must be set up in the Ring app in order for emergency response. I'm happy to answer any other questions you may have.
