Solar Panel charging for Spotlight Cam Pro

I have hooked up my Spotlight Cam Pro to the optional solar panel. Will I still need to remove the battery for charging, or will the solar panel provide sufficient charging. I am in sunny Central Oregon.

Hi @user_34c111. The Ring Solar Panel requires several hours of direct sunlight per day in order to provide a trickle charge to the Spotlight Cam's battery. Depending on how much activity your camera is recording, you may still need to manually charge the battery sometimes. However, having the solar panel can help extend the amount of time between charges.
