I just bought 2 waterproof sensors to mount on the doors in our pool cage.  Unfortunately, the way the cage and metal screen are constructed it isn’t possible to mount both components in a way to maintain proper alignment to allow them to work.  The top of the magnetic contact sits at the bottom of the sensor which doesn’t allow for a workable connection.  I am trying to think of something I can use that is weatherproof to shim the magnetic portion by about an inch to provide for a proper alignment.  Any ideas would be appreciated.
