I have a ring elite doorbell.  About a year ago the plastic lens cover became cloudy to the point where the picture was extremely blurry and in the direct sunlight it was like looking through a kaleidoscope.   I tried cleaners and buffing it to no avail.  I tried getting a replacement cover and ring doesn’t sell it and they have discontinued the ring elite I have.   A new one is $489 and they will give me a 35% discount for the new one if I replace it which would still cost $317.   I made a new cover using a dremel and a plastic cassette case.  The woman from ring recommended using a phone screen protector.   This is crazy.  Ring should sell or give you a new plastic lens cover
