Instructions that take user in circles
My father has a Ring account, but had not used it. I set him up on the app and on his computer with a new password; however he cannot access the account since his phone number and computer are new (the Ring system will not generate a code to an unrecognized device). All the on-line instructions tell a person to go into their on-line account to correct; but if they cannot get into their account, it means nothing.We then called customer service and tried to obtain an access code, but the rep would not give us one. Now onto try #3 - the next set of instructions on-line said to contact customer support. Since the phone calls didn't work, we decided to try chatting with a customer service rep. The person on the chat needed so much instruction that it was us trying to help him or her.Needless to say, he still cannot get into his Ring account to update it because the system is terrible. Please update the instructions on-line (or maybe I can do it for you so they are useful)
