How to date ring battery packs.
Hello, I have a number of ring battery packs and I am trying to figure out which is the newest, as I recycle out old ones. But unlike tye older packs, there is no date on them anymore.
So how do you date the packs?

There has to be a ring internal system to know the dates. I am not sure why ring CS hasn't chimed in and give us that information.
And unfortunately these batteries are a few years old now, so me putting dates on them now is pointless. But it will be a good method if you buy them new, but you would still not knkw if the battery is new or months old because of production and them sitting until put into the package or bought after they have been sitting on the shelf for time.
All in all Ring needs to step up and let us know.

Hi @user78389. The batteries do not have a date on them. The best practice would be to use a paint pen with the month/year on them when you begin to use them.
