Glass Break Sensor Identifier Code Mismatch
I recently bought a 2-pack of Ring Glass Break sensors. They appear to work fine and I have no question about the functionality. However, I noticed that the device Identifier (aka the 5-digit PIN) as noted in the Ring app under Device Settings does NOT match the QR code on the back of the device. The Serial Number does match exactly, just not the Identifier. It's not even close. I currently own dozens of devices connected to my Ring system, not to mention countless older devices that I've replaced, and this is the first time the Identifier as reported in Ring does not match the code near the QR on any device I've ever owned.
When I installed the devices, I did it one at a time to ensure I would not mix them up. However, I noticed this right away when I installed the first one and spent quite a while trying to figure out if I did something wrong. It seems to work fine and when I remove the back plate, it does correctly report a Tamper event. So, I decided to install the second one and the same issue occurred! I searched the device fully inside and out; there are no other codes besides the code printed next to the QR code and the serial #. I should also note that I installed other devices before AND after these sensors where installed and the codes on those devices DO match the Identifier in the Ring app.
I'm not sure what to make of this. Should I be concerned?

Hi @HereticAZ. If the devices are working as intended, and they are reporting like they should in the Ring app, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm not sure what may have caused this error, but if your devices are working without issue, it's not an immediate cause for concern.
