Flood and Freeze sensor doesn't cause an alert
I recently bought 2 Flood and Freeze sensors. When they sense water, they cause a pop-up notice inside the Ring app, but the app doesn't send a notification to my phone, so I never know that it has happened unless I happen to open the app and see the note. I can find no setting to enable notifications. I don't want a full system alarm, but I do need it to function like my cameras and notify me when it is triggered, even if the base is in 'Disarmed' mode. Am I missing something?

Sorry for the late response. We have Galaxy S22 and S23 phones, and all permissions are enabled on both, and neither were notified. We have no other issues with other connected Ring devices. The phone shows that the Ring app is version 3.103.0, if that's what you're looking for, and Notifications, as well as everything else except for Microphone, are allowed. I have the original (non-Pro) base station.
Thanks,
Ron

My Flood sensor in the basement went off again today while we were home and the alarm was in 'Disarmed' mode. The Base Station and keypads gave a voice alert and when I opened the app, it showed the warning at the top, but it still didn't send any notification to my phone. This makes it fairly useless for detecting water in my basement, since the vocal warning is too soft to be heard unless you're standing right next to it.

RThey are connected by Z-Wave. I have the original Non-Pro base station. I did find the 'Water Detected' under the Push settings. I don't remember seeing that when I was searching for 'water' in the settings originally. After changing that setting, as well as the email one, I closed the app and poured some water to run under the sensor, and it gave a warning in the app, but still didn't send a notification or email. Is there anything else to check?
Thanks,

CHi @RonE. Thank you for clarifying and testing out the 'Water Detected' setting. It sounds like you have checked everything, and from here I would suggest reaching out to our social support team to investigate further. You can get in touch @Ring on Facebook, X, or Instagram by sending a private message.

Hi @RonE. What type of phone do you have and what version of the Ring app is installed? Do you have all permissions enabled and allowed?
