Dropping off network
Hello, I have a Eero basestation with Ring Alarm Pro built in. I also have 2 wired Eero Pro 6 devices in my house to extend the WiFi. All FW is up to date with the Eero's.
I have about 10+ door/window sensors that never drop off or give me any issues at all.
I recently added 4 Kidde Smoke alarms (2 wired and 2 battery) and 4 water/temp sensors. Randomly 1 of those devices will drop off line and come back on its own any where 8 -12 hours later. Then a day or 3 goes by and another one of these devices drop off and the pattern goes on and on. One of the water / temp sensors that drops off is literally less then 3ft from the basestation.
I have power cycled all of my Eero devices many times and I even have a Ring Z-Wave Extender in the center of the house.
I can't tell if it's WiFi related or Z-Wave but I cant keep doing this drop off things forever.

The water detection devices that are the issue should be Z-Wave and the only Z-Wave controller I have is the Ring Alarm Pro. The signal strength says "Good" for each of the water detection devices.
One of the devices in less than 5ft from the Ring Pro and it drop off. The Ring Pro device is in the basement and on a open shelf. I also have a Z-Wave extender 1 floor above in the center of the house.

THi @user_34d6e1. Thank you for clarifying. Z-Wave networks can be tricky. First, we want to make sure that Base Station is in a clear, open area, so there isn't anything "blocking" the signal. Next, check for other electronic or radio devices around the sensor or Base Station, as this can cause interference. Something like a baby monitor or intercom base could cause frequencies to get congested. Lastly, you may need a Z-Wave Range extender. Strategically placing these can increase overall reliability in some homes with environmental challenges, like a Basement.

Hi @user_34d6e1. Are these devices wifi devices, or are they connected to your Z-Wave network on your Ring Alarm Pro? If you open the Smoke Alarms on the Kidde Smoke Alarms, tap on the Device Health and see what the RSSI is. Also, where is your Ring Alarm Pro located in your home? Is it under a desk, in a drawer or something similar? Thank you for this information.
