Confirming that leading space character in SSID prevented ring devices from connecting
Just had a hellish evening where I had to re-create the pre-existing Wi-Fi -- same SSID, same password, and exactly the same hardware. But none of the ring devices would connect to the Wi-Fi. I happened to notice at one point that on the iMac, the SSID had quotations around it with a space before the network name. Didn't occur to me why until I left the site, got home, and checked the networking app, and sure enough, I had put a space into the front of the SSID. I understand that this is why none of the devices re-connected automatically (with the previous saved net work) – because it's essentially it was a different network name. But does it also explain why none of the ring devices could connect to the new network? I'm seeing different answers on the Internet.

Hi @user_d32ca3. In order for your Ring devices to connect, the network should be exactly the same. This means no additional characters, including spaces. Your devices may require a reset. You can do this by pressing and holding the setup button for 20 seconds, then release it. Let me know if this helps.
