Absolutely shocking service from Ring – avoid
wireless-security-cameras

its now 7 months and there it still no availability of a simple power cable for my Spotlight Plus cameras. After complaining, I was sent a Spotlight Cam Pro (2nd Gen) as a replacement gesture — which sounds good in theory, but it’s pretty useless when you can’t get reliable power!

I had the new camera professionally installed, including running a power cable through the wall… and then, unbelievably, the cable failed after just 3 days.

I contacted Ring support, only to be told — and this is almost laughable at this point — that they don’t have a power cable to send out. Again.

So here I am:

  • A faulty camera
  • No available accessories
  • Waiting on yet another replacement
  • And still no clear resolution

The only option now is to wait for a full replacement unit (which includes the cable in the box), but confidence in this company is completely gone.

If you want a security system from a company that:

  • Can’t supply its own accessories
  • Takes months to resolve basic issues
  • Leaves customers stuck with unusable products

…then Ring is the one to go for.

As for me, I’ll be ripping out all my Ring devices and moving to a competitor.

It’s genuinely shocking how far this company has gone downhill.
