Cannot stop ring taking payments from my elderly fathers account
I cannot stop Ring taking payments for a service my elderly father doesnt use.
Basicly my father has developed dementia and I have l/p/a for finances and property which I have running.
Checking his accounts ring has been debiting £49 for years for a service he doesnt use and because he doesnt know his account number or his log in details it seems absolutely impossible to cancel as they wont even answer the phone without first entering these details.
Does anyone know a way around this as it seems wrong that I cannot contact Ring about this problem, I mean what happens when relatives die or as in my case relatives become ill with dementia ?

Hi @user_f341be. In our to cancel an account, we need to know what account to cancel. The account is associated with an email address. If you have access to a cell phone where the device set up. Alternatively, you can look on one of the devices for a MAC ID or Serial Number and contact us, we may be able to help you figure it out from there.
