Threaded Screw Hole in the Battery

I have two Stick Up out door cameras.  When I take the batteries out to charge them, I noticed there is a small threaded hole on it.

could you please tell me the tread size of that?

that hole is ideal to help pull the battery out.

    Hi @FremontD. Could you share a picture of this small hole that you're seeing? Additionally, what is the specific device name for your camera? You can find the device name on the Device Health page in the Ring app.

      Hey, I had to use my Lpatop in order to get the pictures.

      As you can see in the pics, I screw a screw into the hole on top of the battery to pull it out.  It makes it so much easier to get it out.

      But I'm not sure I using the right size screw for the threads.

      Thet is what I want to know, the thread size.

    @FremontD Thank you for sharing a picture. That hole is actually used for the security screw on some Ring Video Doorbell models, which adheres the faceplate to the doorbell. This is usually a Torx T15 or T6 screw, so you will want to use one of those to prevent any damage to the battery.
