ring down during hurricane , solution, ??
wireless-security-cameras

Is there any way to capture feed from cameras on local network, my local Wi-Fi for farm was powered up thru hurricane and days of power outage as the rest of the electrical grid was down, meshing my WIFI to a cell phone would possibly work but..?is there a way to store camera feed locally on maybe the zoneminder servers I have running on battery back up?does ring plan on a product that can do this? (like the CloudKey+ ubiquity has for it's camera's?)I was disappointed system was down when I needed it the most.

also cellphone data is slow when it's congested ..as in a hurricane. aka,,,why there should be a local solution to store a backup.

Hi @user_5b7291. At this time, local video storage is only available with Ring Edge on compatible cameras. Ring Edge requires a Ring Alarm Pro with a microSD card, a compatible camera, and the Ring Pro subscription.
