Europe VAT invoice required

billing
Hi all, I'm extremely desperate and disappointed at this stage by having made the choice as a company to buy any Ring products-services.... **Can somebody help me to receive an obligatory by LAW correct VAT invoice?** After spending more than 2 hours on phone and chat with people that have no clue what they are talking about. Email address mentioned on Ring invoices don't work. I have two order for which I paid with my company credit card but impossible to get a correct invoice. I need at least my VAT number and company name mentioned on it. And normally the VAT should also be put at 0% for B2B. Hoping to get this solved and otherwise hoping that Ring can at least refund for my purchases as they don't allow me as a company to get the legally required documents. A not so happy customer, Olivier

I'm having the same problem. I didn't pay for the plan yet but the support insists it is not possible to have a vat number in the invoice

I'm having the same problem as you. I tried customer support trought chat with no avail. After 1h on the phone they undestood the problem, extended my trial and promised to look after this in the next days so they could comply with the European Laws (having their address, their VAT ID and my company VAT ID visible in the invoice) before I commit to a payment. Let's see how it goes.

I would like to raise a situation that I consider concerning from a tax compliance and good-practice perspective.

Ring.com (Amazon), a company headquartered in Santa Monica, United States, is issuing invoices to Spanish companies including 21% Spanish VAT, which, according to EU VAT regulations, is not correct for B2B transactions with non-EU suppliers, where the reverse charge mechanism should apply.

What is particularly striking is that:

        • The invoice is not automatically available in the customer panel and must be explicitly requested from support.

        • The invoice is issued with U.S. company details, yet still includes 21% Spanish VAT.

        • There is no reference to the reverse charge mechanism or to the applicable regulation.

From a legal and accounting standpoint, this is incorrect and potentially unlawful, as a company not established in the EU should not be charging Spanish VAT in this way. If applicable, the tax must be self-assessed by the recipient in Spain.

It is difficult to understand how a company of this size and technological maturity can have a billing process with this level of friction and such evident tax errors.

I would like to know whether other users are experiencing the same situation and if anyone has managed to obtain properly corrected invoices.

These practices should be reviewed as soon as possible by the provider, as they create legal uncertainty, accounting issues, and a clear loss of trust.
