Chime "Offline" After Successful Setup
troubleshooting
Purchased a Ring Chime and I am unable to get it to work. First try, everything went well - light flashed green and connect to Wifi with no issues. When I looked on the dashboard it states "Offline". I've tried several times to reconnect with no success. The light is steady green and stating "Off line". How do I fix this?

Hi @user_c61ef2. Is your router dual-band, with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks? If so, I'd recommend trying to split the bands. Then try setting the Ring Chime up with the 2.4GHz network only. If your wifi password has any special characters in it, remove these and then try the setup process again.
If these steps don't work, try fully resetting the Chime by holding down the reset button on the side for about 15 seconds. Should the Chime still not complete the setup process, please follow up with our support team at one of the numbers available here, or on Facebook @Ring.
