Can a Ring extender help with cameras?

I need to get some of my camera's signals boosted. Will a Ring Extender do that? I have tried to extend my wireless network, but it doesn't seem to be helping much.

- J@jokharr I'm happy to chime in. As mentioned in the solution, you can use the [Ring Chime Pro](https://ring.com/products/chime-pro-gen2) as a wifi extender for your Ring Cameras and Doorbells.•

- ARecently fixed my wired Security camera to the corner of the garage, but before assessing if the signal strength was good enough there. WiFi strength is Weak but camera function still works The App recommends adding Ring Chime Pro in order to extend signal but surely a standard WiFi extender can do the job?•

CHi @ArcLundi. The Ring Chime Pro is a wifi extender for Ring devices, which is why it is recommended in the Ring app for cases of a weak signal. You do not have to use the Chime Pro if you want to use a different wifi extender.•0

UI bought the ring chime pro to help extend my camera range and it actually was worse than my Wi-Fi
