+ 1, I Agree. I would like to add some more thoughts. I appreciate Ring for thinking about this feature, but with the limited options currently provided (as of Oct 7, 2021), I'm not able to use it effectively. One time, my door bell started playing the automated response, after I talked to the person at the door which was funny. This will become an AWESOME feature, if Ring enables the user to respond with an automated response REAL-TIME when looking at the live view and also provide the option to record custom voice message(s).

The option for quick replies to be changed based on alarm status or allow automations in general so that certain events or statuses trigger an action to occur.

This seems like a no-brainer - especially the delivery assistance part. Most of the time I only want quick replies when I’m not home or if I’m in Do Not Disturb mode (which means Home mode, for Ring).

A year on and I’m surprised this feature doesn’t exist. Seems a real no brainer. I don’t use quick replies for this very reason hopefully they can sort

Am I right in thinking that it’s now 2024 and this functionality still hasn’t been added? Some internet searches suggest that it’s possible but in reality we still seem to be limited to one live message which is disappointing.
