Adding Ring product to outdoor gate

Good Morning and forgive my ignorance (I'm not a tech person)
We have a Ring 2 Pro wired video doorbell on our front door and just fitted a garden gate, was looking to see what (wired) product can be added on the gate or would we need to remove the Ring 2 from door and attach it to the gate.
I wasn't sure if adding another video door bell it would work together with the one attached to door just adding another viewpoint or it would work different to the existing one

Hi @user_d85579. Ring Video Doorbells operate independently of each other, but you can set multiple up at the same location. You can also use the Linked Devices feature to set one doorbell to record when the other detects motion or someone rings the bell. The main concern with installing a Ring doorbell on a gate is that the wifi signal may not be strong enough that far from the router.
