Missing Package notifications

I have seen numerous other people complaining about this, but my Ring doorbell camera V1 completely misses package delivery. This happens for both Amazon and FedEx packages.I have tried numerous Motion Alert settings including turning smart alerts both off and on, increasing sensitivity to the max, etc., without success. the camera picks up people going in and out the door, people walking by 5 feet in front of the door, as well as cars / trucks a good 30 feet away. What gives with packages and the person delivering them?Any suggestions / help would be welcome.
